My parents came and picked up their Thunderbird I was borrowing (storing) while I was supposed to be replacing my head gaskets on the equinox. I think the equinox is leaking oil or I made more of a mess than I thought last time I changed the oil.

Early to mid 90’s LX with a V8.

It was my dad’s dad and it rarely got driven. “Only has 64,xxx miles on it....” when I drove it I noticed right away the odometer was broke and not flipping over. They also put in premium gas, “it cost more so it’s better for the engine.”

I showed him in the owners manual where it says 87 is recommended.

A while ago I drove my dad in it when he had back surgery and wondered why cigarette outlet didn’t work. I replaced fuse so it’d work. Then found out why yesterday, the lug nut key was in the outlet.

My mom thought she smelt a burning wire smell in her 05 explorer, so they wanted the car back in case it crapped out.

They really aren’t car people.

I had planned on taking pictures of it, but haven’t in the couple weeks it was parked out front.
